What we store
Your Ampli account email, optional display name and a one-way (Argon2) hash of your Ampli password — we never store or email the password itself; the EVIQO account email and password you link (encrypted at rest with a server-side key, never returned to the app); your electricity rate settings; charging schedules; charging sessions recorded from your charger's live data (start/end time, energy, estimated cost); and your device timezone so schedules run at the right local time.
Why we need your EVIQO password
EVIQO does not offer a public API. Ampli's server signs in to the EVIQO cloud the same way the EVIQO web dashboard does, so schedules and usage logging can run while your phone is off.
Notifications
If you turn on charging alerts, your device's push token is stored with our push provider so the server can notify you when charging finishes, a schedule starts, or your car is plugged in but not charging. You can turn alerts off in Settings or in your device's notification settings at any time.
Subscriptions
Ampli Pro purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) and managed by RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status and an anonymous purchase record tied to your Ampli account ID; we never see your payment details.
Deletion
Unlinking deletes the stored EVIQO credentials immediately. Deleting your account from Settings permanently removes your account, credentials, schedules and history, and stops all charging alerts (alerts are only generated for an existing, linked account; the push registration itself expires when the app is removed).
Sharing
We do not sell or share your data. Data is shared only with the services needed to run the app: the EVIQO cloud (to control your charger), our transactional email provider (only to deliver password-reset codes you request), RevenueCat (to verify your subscription) and our push notification provider (to deliver alerts you turned on).
